These days I I have finished a new Dot Art painting – Butterfly Mandala with Evil Eye
As I decided to explain what’s hidden behind every Mandala , its meaning and symbolism… this time I’ll write some separated articles about the same Butterfly Mandala With Evil Eye .
One articles I wish to dedicate to the Butterfly and its spiritual meaning.
The second article about Evil Eye symbol –I ADORE IT – and the 3d about the meaning of number 6 in Mandala.
When I begin to make my Mandala , wasn’t in my mind the Butterfly. :)
The ideas come while I’m painting, or while I'm staying and looking to the center of Mandala for minutes. And I said to myself “ Butterflies with Evil Eye”… Yes that is!! The butterflies are beautiful and have a spiritual meaning.
A secondary meaning of the butterfly is about finding joy in life and lightness of being.
Butterfly spirit animal has gone from a caterpillar that is only capable of crawling ever so slowly along on a twig to becoming a Butterfly that is capable of of taking flight across seas and continents. This is a message of what is possible in our own lives, of going beyond what we believe possible ~ to making the impossible a reality.
The magic meaning for Butterfly symbolism ... is "THE MAGIC OF BELIEVING", for believing is the first step in anything you set out to do... if you believe then you will find a way... regardless of obstacles, if you do not believe you will not see the way, and obstacles will stop you.
The more we seek symbolism in nature, the more we realize we have a lot in common with animals, insects and life in the wild realms. Indeed, we are intimately connected with the animal queen/kingdom - inseparable from nature and her movements.
The Butterfly can be viewed symbolically as ideas to assist humans to be more successful within their own lives.
While we cannot fly, we can ensure that we don’t get stuck in what is too comfortable. We don’t have exoskeletons, but we can develop sensitivity to the energies around us and strengthen ourselves to be less victimized by those energies.
We can be less wasteful in our lives and keep our demands small. We can build and do a little at a time so that it becomes great over time instead of trying to accomplish all at once. Probably most importantly, metamorphosis is inevitable…
Butterfly is the power of air, the ability to float upon a breeze. It is known for its darting flight; thus, it represents the mind and our ability to change it when necessary. Butterfly represents the never-ending cycle of life.
Butterflies appear to dance as they flitter among the flowers. They remind us not to take things so seriously within our lives. They awaken a sense of lightness and joy. They remind us to get up and move, for if you do not move, you cannot dance.
Butterflies bring color and joy with them. They teach us that growth and transformation does not have to be a traumatic experience. It can be joyous. Butterflies possess the ability to grow and change, leaving the safety of their cocoon to discover a new world in a new form without fear, trusting their untested wings to fly without a doubt in their minds. Change can occur as gently and as joyfully as one wishes.
Allowing the wind to carry you forward to your goals and dreams. A time of self-discovery rebirth. The butterfly shows you the beauty within.
Go forth with joy.
Love & Peace ,
I am always doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it.
